Waiver Policy:
What do I need to do before my child’s first class?
Waivers must be signed before the first date of participation. Without a signed waiver, your child will not be able to participate.
Refund Policy:
What is your refund policy?
All monthly billing courses adhere to the same cancellation policy:
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the first class will receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds will be issued once the first class of the month has begun.
When are refunds not provided?
Refunds and/or prorates will not be issued in the following situations:
- Your child’s absence.
- Unexpected school closures announced by AISD.
- Holidays/school breaks aligned with AISD.
- Unforeseen closures due to weather, power outages, emergencies, or natural disasters.
How do I request a refund?

Makeup Policy:
Makeup classes must be taken within 30 days from when the absence occurs.
- Missed classes must be made up in the semester the classes were missed.
- Fall class makeups in the fall semester
- Spring class makeups in the spring semester
- Summer class makeups in the summer session
- Classes missed during scheduled closures are already factored into the pricing and are not eligible for makeup. For makeup requests please reach out to support at info@girlstrainingacademy.com
Inclement Weather Policy:
Girls Training Academy does not operate during inclement weather events. You will be notified in such event.
Class Cancellation Policy:
Should Girls Training Academy be forced to cancel classes due to unforeseeable and uncontrollable circumstances (inclement weather, natural disasters, power outages, government-mandated closures, construction issues, etc.), refunds will NOT be issued. Girls Training Academy will make every reasonable effort to provide opportunities for makeup classes.
Sick Policy:
If your child is showing any symptoms of illness, including but not limited to:
- Fever
- Coughing
- Sore throat
- Congestion
- Gastrointestinal issues
Please keep your child at home. Physical training is best when your child is well. Our makeup policy applies.
If your child shows symptoms of illness while training, you will be asked to pick them up immediately and keep them home until they are symptom free. They must be fever-free for a minimum of 24 hours without medication before returning to any program.
Behavior Policy:
Girls Training Academy is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for all participants. To uphold this commitment, we enforce guidelines for behavior. Any actions that compromise the physical or emotional safety of others will result in immediate consequences, up to dismissal from the program.
Unacceptable Behaviors
The following will not be tolerated and are grounds for immediate dismissal:
- Physical aggression: Hitting, kicking, pushing, biting, or spitting.
- Verbal/written harassment: Bullying, threats, slurs, or demeaning language.
- Defiance or endangerment: Refusing safety instructions, damaging equipment, or leaving designated areas.
- Exclusionary behavior: Deliberately isolating others or encouraging peer rejection.
Consequences
- First Incident:
- Immediate removal from the activity.
- Private discussion with the child + written incident report to parents.
- Second Incident:
- 1-on-1 meeting with parents/guardians.
- Probationary period (child may observe but not participate for 1 session).
- Third Incident:
- Dismissal from the program without refund.
Note: Extreme incidents (e.g., physical violence, verbal violence) may result in immediate dismissal without prior warnings.
Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
- Reinforce expectations: Discuss respect, safety, and kindness at home.
- Disclose needs: Inform us of behavioral or emotional support needs (e.g., ADHD, anxiety) to help us adapt.
- Partner with us: Work with coaches to address recurring issues constructively.
We believe in second chances and growth—but never at the expense of another child’s safety or well-being.
